Natural cosmetics

The first thing we should say is that the terms Biological, Ecological, and Organic cosmetics are the same, but depending on the geographic location, one term may be used more than the other. These types of products contain plant-based active ingredients from organic farming where no pesticides or petrochemical fertilizers have been used. Additionally, they are products without unnecessary synthetic additives such as colorants, preservatives, synthetic perfumes, silicones, or animal substances, and their transformation process does not pollute the environment. They contain the best that nature can offer us: plant-based oils, extracts, and aromas that produce real results. Organic cosmetics must also comply with a series of standards, from the choice of ingredients to the methods of production used. The entire process, from raw material to the final product placed on the market, is approved by control mechanisms that certify the quality of the product, providing them with a distinctive or representative logo.

As there is no regulated definition of the term "natural," it can have different interpretations. A natural skincare product could contain natural ingredients along with synthetic ones. The ingredients in your natural cosmetics may have such origins but be processed to the point where they are no longer considered natural. The term "natural" could even refer to one or two natural ingredients in a product, while most of the ingredients are chemicals. Unfortunately, the label "natural" doesn't mean much. In an ideal world, natural products would only contain ingredients derived from nature such as plants, flowers, nuts, seeds, and herbs. While there are brands that produce genuine natural products, we suggest you be cautious when reading natural claims on products from conventional brands. Here, it is most likely used as a marketing term. Reviewing the ingredient list will allow you to determine if a product is truly natural or not, and if you need help, let us know and we will try to assist you.

Currently, the sale and manufacture of cosmetic products that have been previously tested on laboratory animals are prohibited in European soil. Therefore, positioning oneself as a 'Cruelty-Free' brand is nothing more than a marketing strategy; doing otherwise today is illegal (see directive 2003/15/EC). The regulation was carried out in two phases: the first took place between 2004 and March 2009, and experimentation on animals for any cosmetic product or ingredient within the European Union was prohibited, as well as the sale on European soil of any cosmetic product containing ingredients tested on animals. In a second phase, which came into effect on March 11, 2013, this ban was extended to all products and ingredients for which toxicity tests were required, which had been exempt from the application of the first phase.

Of course, LO products are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. They have passed all safety tests and trials that guarantee their effectiveness and safety for users. Not only are they suitable formulas for sensitive skin, but the results they provide regenerate and rebalance the epidermis so that it can appear luminous and visibly renewed.

The preservatives are also Cosmos, and they effectively act to protect our formulations during their shelf life. We use synergistic blends of actives that ensure stability and preservation of the formulas. We always select the mildest and most suitable type of preservative depending on the type of formulation.

First, it is important to understand what Parabens are. Parabens are, in cosmetics, to put it simply, a type of preservative, given their bactericidal and fungicidal activity. Many companies working with cosmetics and pharmacy use parabens in their products due to their low cost. We can identify them on the label by their names: methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, or benzylparaben. The use of these products affects our skin. There are studies that show that in recent years there has been an increase in dermal allergies and rosacea. Our skin reacts to these products by generating dermatitis, itching, redness, feeling of dryness, among other symptoms.

Petrolatums are all those products derived from petroleum. Nowadays, we can find them in all types of cosmetic products: creams, soaps, shampoos, masks, oils, lip balms, or lipsticks. Even in products intended for sensitive skin and babies, which is quite striking. Just reading the ingredient list (INCI) is enough to verify it. The continued use of cosmetics containing these toxic ingredients produces the following negative effects on your skin: False sense of hydration. Clogging of the skin pores. They do not allow the natural functioning of our skin, hindering natural transpiration. They block the elimination of toxins. As an alternative to these products, there is a wide variety of natural oils and creams that are compatible with our skin and whose oily base is vegetable oils. These natural ingredients provide numerous essential fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants that provide softness, hydration, and natural elasticity to the skin. At the same time, they nourish the skin, protect it, and facilitate its proper functioning.

Vegetable oils are a completely natural product obtained through pressing methods of seeds, fruits, or other parts of various plants, resulting in a source of energy for our consumption, care, and benefit. Some of the benefits they provide us with are:
Great moisturizing power, stabilizing skins that suffer from excessive dryness and flaky sensation.
Improve the lipid level in our skins, providing us with a higher level of protection.
Provide vitamins that help us regenerate and tighten our skin.

The main difference, considering today's certifications, is that Organic products must have a higher percentage of plant-derived ingredients than natural products. In addition to this percentage, they must have another higher percentage of products derived from organic agriculture (from non-genetically modified plants, grown in protected and sustainable environments, and no artificial pesticides or toxic substances are used during cultivation or harvesting).

Products of vegetable origin are all those that grow directly from the earth (such as fruits, vegetables, legumes, and cereals) and which the skin assimilates perfectly. Assimilation is the skin's ability to allow an active ingredient to penetrate and then extract all its benefits for use in whatever need it has at that moment. The skin is an intelligent organ and knows what is suitable for it and what is not. A cosmetic of these characteristics seeks to be as similar as possible to the composition of our skin, so biochemical compatibility is practically assured, with all the advantages that this entails: they are not aggressive products, they strengthen and improve dermal functions, stimulate the skin's regenerative capacity, and have no side effects.

Salicylic acid is a very common ingredient in cosmetics due to its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antibacterial properties. However, it is not recommended during pregnancy in high concentrations. In low doses (percentages lower than 2% or less, such as Labeau products), it is considered safe.
Purchase process

It's very simple! :) First of all, you'll need to choose the product or products you want, and to do so, go to the top of the website where you'll find the menu with different sections and choose the one that interests you the most.
By clicking on each product, you can choose the desired quantity and add the products to the cart, and you can also read all the information and ingredients they contain. It will surely be helpful!
Once you've added the products to the cart, you can continue shopping, adding more products, or even changing the quantities of some products. Once you have your favorites in the cart, you can click on "CHECKOUT" and fill in the personal information. Remember! If you have a coupon, you can apply it in the blank space provided for it and click "APPLY".
Once you've filled in your personal information, you can indicate your shipping or billing address, select the shipping method, and the payment method. Also, in the addresses section, you'll find the option to wrap the order for a gift. You can also leave comments for the carrier with any notes regarding the address, delivery time... or for Labeu Organics, in case you want to separate the order into two different boxes, add a brief dedication to your order, etc.
If you haven't applied the coupon yet at this point, don't worry! :) On the right side of the screen, you'll see a summary of your order where there is a space to enter your discount coupons. Remember to click "ADD" to apply the discount.
Then, you must select the shipping method. You can choose delivery to your home or a pickup point.
If you prefer delivery to a pickup point, remember to select the delivery point that best suits your needs and click "continue" to proceed to make the payment where you can choose between payment by card, PayPal, or cash on delivery.
Finally, you can click on "I accept the terms of service" and "COMPLETE ORDER". Once the payment process is completed, you will receive an email confirming your order along with the invoice.

Of course! :) If you don't want to register and want to place an order, you can do so using 'quick order'.
However, being registered represents an advantage in many cases as you can log in and view your order history and details, your addresses, save your payment cards and personal information for information and/or modification if necessary.
If you decide to register at the end of the purchase, no problem! You can register as soon as the order confirmation screen appears by adding a password to your account, and you're done, account created! :)
In addition, your data will be saved, and you won't have to enter it again for each new purchase.
Please note that orders placed without registering as a customer will not appear in the order history if registration is done after passing this screen. The order history informs you of all orders placed as a registered customer.

The payment is made in the final step of the checkout process, after entering all the card details and clicking on 'COMPLETE ORDER'.
If you choose to pay via Paypal, you'll need to select the option and it will redirect you to the Paypal payment gateway where you can enter your account details, and you're done! :)
Once you've completed the steps for either option, you'll be redirected back to the Labeau Organic website where you'll see a message indicating that the order has been completed. At this point, the amount of your order will be deducted from your bank account or PayPal account, and you will also receive the order confirmation email.
In the case of cash on delivery payment, the payment will be made once you have received the order at your delivery address.

Once the order is completed, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details of the order. If you have received this email, great! It means that your order has been successfully completed and is ready for our logistics team to prepare it as soon as possible. If you think you haven't received the email, we recommend checking your Spam or Junk folder in case the confirmation email has arrived there by mistake or due to your email account settings.

Payment methods

The payment for your order can be made by credit card, PayPal, cash on delivery, and Scalapay. If you choose to pay by credit card, you can enter all your card details. To pay with PayPal, select this payment method and click on CHECKOUT. Then, you will be redirected to the PayPal page to proceed with the payment. For cash on delivery payment, select this payment method and click on CHECKOUT. Once you receive the order, you will need to pay in cash. Lastly, you can also make your purchase through Scalapay, where you can make payment in installments.

Registration, My Account, and Newsletter

Enter your account with your current password. In the menu, select the option 'INFORMATION.' It's time to fill in the fields with your name, last name, email, current password, and the new password. You can also check the option to join our newsletter and add a sponsorship code. Click on 'SAVE' and you're all set :)

Our mission is to create products that improve the quality of life for people and also for our planet. We started our company recently, and our production is still small and does not reach the minimum to manufacture with more ecological materials. We are aware that plastic (even recyclable) is not the best option, so we continue to search for other ways and alternatives to change it as soon as possible.

When placing your order, you can select the home delivery option during checkout.
Once we dispatch the order, you'll notice that the shipment confirmation email has the option to select it by clicking on 'here'.
By clicking on 'here,' you will see this screen where you should select 'Service Point or Locker.'
Once done, choose the pickup point you prefer by clicking on 'Detail.' Once inside, you'll see the schedule of the Service Point and some of its features. If you think it suits your schedule, remember to click on 'SELECT,' and everything will be ready for you to pick up your order at your preferred location.
When your order arrives at the Service Point, you will be notified again by MRW. Remember to pick it up before 10 days to avoid it being returned to the origin!

We understand that as a customer, you expect to receive your order as soon as possible. That's why at Labeau Organic, we work to deliver your order as quickly as possible, with guaranteed deliveries of 24/48 working hours from the moment your package leaves our logistics center in the Peninsula. Orders placed before 2:00 p.m., Peninsula time, are prepared and shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 p.m., Peninsula time, are processed the next business day, so their delivery time increases by 24 hours.
Orders placed during promotions, launches, or Black Friday and Cyber Monday may take a little longer than usual to be delivered.

The cost of shipping to Spain (including the Balearic Islands) is free. For Portugal and Europe, shipping is also free if your order exceeds 49€. You can check the order amounts for which shipping is free and the shipping prices here.

Once your order leaves our facilities, you will receive an email confirming the change of status of your order to shipped, which contains the tracking link for your shipment. Simply click on that link, and it will redirect you to the carrier's website to get information about your shipment.
Additionally, you will also receive an SMS from the delivery company indicating the day of delivery. In the SMS, you have a tool to modify the delivery if necessary.

All our orders are handled by the courier company MRW. You will receive an SMS with the tracking number of your shipment and the estimated delivery date. In any case, we strive to ensure that orders arrive as best and as quickly as possible!

Don't worry! The delivery driver will leave a notice in your mailbox if they are able to access it, indicating that they have attempted delivery. If this is not possible, you will be notified via SMS, email, or phone call. We would be very sorry if this happens, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 14 calendar days from the day you receive the products. Send an email to info@labeauorganic.com, and our customer service team will provide you with detailed instructions on how to proceed. Please remember that we do not accept returns of opened, used, or products that do not retain their original packaging.

Once the returned product is received and we have verified its good condition, the refund is processed immediately.
In the event of a return, the amount will be refunded using the same payment method used during the purchase. However, depending on the issuing entity, it may take a few days to be reflected.

If the return is due to reasons not attributable to Labeau Organic, such as a change of mind or an error by the customer when making the purchase, it will be the customer's responsibility to return the products to us in perfect condition. If the return is due to reasons attributable to Labeau Organic (defective product or not matching the purchased reference), Labeau Organic will be responsible for collecting the products and/or exchanging them for the correct ones, assuming the costs associated with this return and/or exchange.
